The Grey Movie

The Grey is an upcoming adventure thriller drama movie directed by Joe Carnahan based on a script he co-wrote with Ian Jeffers. The story revolves around the survivors of a harrowing plane crash who are then hunted down by a pack of wild wolves. The cast of the Grey includes Liam Neeson, Dallas Roberts, James Badge Dale, Dermot Mulroney, Frank Grillo, Nonso Anozie, and Joe Anderson. The release date is set for January 27, 2012.

Here's a first look at the movie The Grey:

The Grey moviePlot:
"In Alaska, an oil drilling team struggle to survive after a plane crash strands them in the wild. Hunting the humans are a pack of wolves who see them as intruders."

A few words from director Joe Carnahan about the Grey:

"It's a hard-R exploration of the male id, I guess [laughs]. That's an encapsulated version of it. Yeah, I'm very proud of it. But listen, it's also kind of a horror film. It's a monster movie — not in a Cloverfield sense, though. This is something that has a real basis in reality, and that's what interests me. These guys are pursued by wolves. It's a very straight-forward, traditional kind of Jaws-like assault on the moviegoer."

Yet another movie that will revive our ancestral fear of wolves... Sure they're dangerous animals, but man is more than ever the ultimate predator. Anyway, there are some real talents attached to the film, so I'll definitely go watch the Grey movie when it comes out in theaters.

Anyway, more information about the movie The Grey soon.
